lyrics
Wandering through deserts built from dust of kings
Nothing could save them in the end
A solemn journey to understand the failure
The once powerful fell so low
In pursuit of treasures out of fiction
Oblivious to the soul’s dereliction
Forsaken by treasures out of fiction
Revelation at the soul’s dereliction
Blinded by the desire for more
Unwilling to leave walls ornate
Realizing far too late
Annihilation was their fate
The eyes of kings, they could not foresee
The self-indulgent subjugation
Empires crushed from within
Left with nothing, in lamentation
Lamentations for the kings
Those once mighty now weep
For all conquest, and riches stolen
The kings had already died within
In pursuit of treasures out of fiction
Oblivious to the soul’s dereliction
Forsaken by treasures out of fiction
Revelation at the soul’s dereliction
Stubborn indulgence, rejecting importance, destroying their kingdoms, obsessing for objects resulting in death
Deceived by desire, embracing hell-fire, lamenting the kings of old, forsaken by cursed gold
Blinded by the desire for more
Unwilling to leave walls ornate
Realizing far too late
Annihilation was their fate
The eyes of kings, they could not foresee
The self-indulgent subjugation
Empires crushed from within
Left with nothing, in lamentation

It's hard to describe this one. It's brutal, it's crazy, it's kicking ass! Some weird and insane shit. It's like a punch in the face…with a Knuckelduster…by your mom…on Christmas. Sælzer Bub

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
